A: One Codex allows you to access our platform in multiple ways:
You can easily view all of your samples through our web application.
We provide the One Codex command line interface (CLI) and Python client library, which allows you to up- and download data, including interleaving of pairs, edit metadata, and save your credentials for repeated use.
You can also upload files using cURL or HTTPie.
Register for an Account
If you're new to One Codex, you can to sign up for an account with us for free! Our documentation can help you to get started.
Don't forget to confirm your registration by following the link in the email we sent. Without this, you may have trouble logging in.
Logging In
The One Codex Web Application
You can log in to our web application through https://app.onecodex.com/login.
The One Codex Command Line Interface (CLI)
Once you've registered for an account, you can install our command line interface (CLI), by following these instructions.
To login through the CLI, just type:
onecodex login
This will prompt you for your email address and password.
Alternatively, you can type:
onecodex --api-key [INSERT YOUR API KEY] login
Reset your password
If you have trouble logging in, you can reset your password.
Just enter your email address and follow the instructions provided by email.
